Bloc Party any good live? I saw Hoobastank a couple of years back and they.. well.. stank! My favourite gig so far has to be a tie between Franz Ferdinand, The Rapture and Does It Offend You, Yeah?

Well I've seen well over 140 bands live in my relatively short life, some even multiple times, but I would have to say... Metallica, Disturbed, Madness, UB40 and Prodigy at Download Festival 06' they rocked the tent!
and yes I have a very diverse music taste, lol

One of the best gigs I have been was definitly Radiohead. One of the best bands ever in my opinion and a great live-band.
Who else? Of course U2. When 70 000 peope are singing the chorus with Bono... that is amazing.

If any of you haven't seen the Flaming Lips live, you are missing out. Their shows are joyous occasions - and LOUD!

only been to one gig so far, and i already know it'll be one of the best i'll ever go to.
i watched the Led Zep Madison Square Garden gig on channel 4 last night, and i honestly wasn't blown away by it....
i need to listen to some albums.
planning to go to the Foo Fighters gig at wembley next year, that'll sizzle.

Foo Fighters would be great to go to, need to talk to some fellow maniacs about whether they'd wanna go. requirements: ridiculous length hair for thrashing.

Pink Floyd, nothing came close. I seen most of the bands/artists I waned to see and that was in a league of its own.

Saw them in 94 during the Division Bell tour. Saw Roger 3 times as well, also a great show, although not on the scale of Pink Floyd. Missed out on the Wall in Berlin unfortunately, and have been sorry ever since, but such is life, it sometimes interferes with plans we make.

Unlucky that you didnt catch them last time, but as you said, such is life. You win some ya lose some I doubt they will ever get back again, do you? even for a one off?

Doubtful, especially now that Rick died (RIP), maybe for one of those charity things, but I don't see it.
