they probably had the worst start of a season in their history, however, since harry's arrival, it seems that tottenham are back on the right track... 7 points in their last 3 games, two of which against liverpool and arsenal... this is more like the tottenham we all expected at the beginning of the season... IMO they still have their problems; the most obvious one is their overrated goalkeeper!! i never rated the lad, and now, after seeing him more in action, i think that he is not the man for the ambitious tottenham team...and harry has pointed out his dissatisfaction by hinting for loaning our ben foster.. they also still need a "jermaine defoe".. a player who can play that role of the quick striker who plays behind a "big guy" up front (pavlechenko or bent)... with players like bentley, jenas , modric, lennon, geovanni, huddlestone, and zokora in the midfield, i think they are somehow covered.. redknapp should just find the right "balanced" formula in the middle... as for their defense, i still think they need a left back...corluka, king and woodgate would cover the remaining three defensive positions...

All they needed was confidence and "arry gave them that. Gomes is a very good keeper but he is not on the same page with his defenders, someone needs to learn how to communicate, with his style its a must.
Its their midfield that really needs cover. Someone to properly protect the back four, Zokora and Huddlestone are not doing the job.

Zakora isnt the sort of midfielder to just sit in front of the back for really, and Huddelstone isnt mobile enough for my liking. Their defence needs stability as well. You cant keep chopping and changing, especially not with your defence and in praticular the centre of the defence. Its what Spurs have been doing for three years now though.

That end to the Scousers game was fantastic! I loved it so much! Harry's doing a good job and I'm happy for him too, as I don't want to see Spurs go down, because a team with players like Woodgate, Bent, Pavlychenko, Lennon, O'Hara etc...doesn't deserve that.

tottenham are now playing a UEFA cup game against Dinamo Zaghreb.. so far, in the 70th minute, they are up by 3!! 2 from bent, and one from huddlestone... they are now a team with character... Harry really gave the team what was needed; confidence...

All their players needed to know was that they are not rubbish and that they wont be subbed or benched after one poor game. Arry is good at that.

Juande Ramos was totally to blame for Spurs failure, says Teddy Sheringham
Spurs boss Redknapp has already recruited former White Hart Lane stars Tim Sherwood and Les Ferdinand to his backroom staff and raided old club Portsmouth for Joe Jordan and Kevin Bond.
He also suggested he wanted to bring in Sheringham - an offer the former Spurs striker, who is keen to start his coaching career under Redknapp, would be more than happy to accept.
The pair were together at Pompey where Sheringham was impressed by Redknapp's ability as a manager.
But Sheringham was scathing about the man Redknapp replaced, likening Juande Ramos's poor communication with that of his one-time manager for club and country, Glenn Hoddle.
Sheringham, 42, said: "Harry was asked a question about what explayers he'd like to work with and my name was mentioned with Les Ferdinand and Tim Sherwood.
"I've not spoken to Harry at all about it and all the talk of me returning to Spurs is just rumour so far. But if Harry asked me the question about a coaching job, I would definitely listen to what he had to say."
Sheringham said Ramos's poor English meant he failed to make himself understood and that Hoddle also struggled to get on with his players, but for a different reason.
"Glenn had an air about him that he was too good for us and we didn't match up to his standards," said Sheringham, who scored 11 goals in 51 appearances for England and had two spells at White Hart Lane. "I didn't rate him as a manager. The way he spoke to us players wasn't the right way to do it as far as a lot of us were concerned. I don't think any player lived up to his expectations.

after winning again against liverpool, i think that tottenham have proven consistent. harry really succeeded in using his players correctly. pavlechenko, bent, and even campbel, they are all playing their role at a time.
as for juande, lets not forget his history. he is a good manager, what he did at sevilla was not byu luck.. however, he faled to deal with his new signings. he was employing them wrongly. thats what failed him as a manager. harry has a talent of making use of all his squad efficiently and effectively; and that's what makes him, in my opinion, one of the top managers in the business..

The more I see of Bale, the happier I am that we didnt pay that amount for him. Against Liverpool in the champions league he did everything wrong basically, and its been happening all season. Misplaced passes, wrong decisions, awful crosses, running the ball out of play.
The same game showed how underrated Corluca is. For me he is one of the best defenders in the league. Very comfortable either at right back or centre back. Excellent reading of the game, good pace, strong in the challange. Quality.
